After the catastrophic events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is left in ruins. Thanos, the Mad Titan, has wiped out half of all life using the Infinity Stones. The remaining Avengers, devastated and broken, regroup to undo the damage and bring back their loved ones.
Five years later, Scott Lang (Ant-Man) escapes the Quantum Realm and proposes a plan to use quantum mechanics for time travel. The Avengers reunite, including Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Bruce Banner (Hulk), who develop a time-travel device. They split into teams to retrieve the Infinity Stones from different points in the past, intending to use them to reverse Thanos’ snap.
The mission encounters challenges, including unexpected emotional confrontations. Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) sacrifices herself to obtain the Soul Stone, and the team barely succeeds in collecting the stones. Meanwhile, past Thanos learns of their plan and travels to the present to stop them.
Using a new Infinity Gauntlet, Hulk reverses the snap, bringing back everyone who had disappeared. However, Thanos attacks, leading to an epic battle involving every hero brought back by the snap. In the climactic moment, Tony Stark uses the stones to defeat Thanos and his army, sacrificing his life in the process.
The film concludes with the Avengers mourning Tony and returning the stones to their timelines. As the Avengers enter a new era, Steve Rogers (Captain America) passes his shield to Sam Wilson (Falcon) and remains in the past to live a full life with Peggy Carter.
Avengers: Endgame is a poignant and action-packed conclusion to the Infinity Saga, celebrating the resilience of heroes and the sacrifices they make to protect the world.
